Season 1 · A Absolutely Cotswolds series
Daddy vs Daughters
Same money. Three very different brains. He has twenty-five years of the Cotswolds behind him. Harriet is twelve and unimpressed by all of it. Georgina is nine and picking whatever looks best. Each episode they get one budget, one question and no discussion — then you decide who spent it better.

Episode 4: Daddy vs Daughters: £5,000. One Night. The Cotswolds.
You have £5,000 to create the most ridiculously brilliant one-night stay in the Cotswolds. Where do you stay, what do you eat, how do you get around and what do you do?
Daddy gets £5,000. Harriet & G get their own £5,000 budget together. You have to stay one night in one Cotswolds hotel, pub, country house or other legitimate place to stay. Unlike Monaco, you are free to explore: your money can be spent on the room, dinner, lunch, afternoon tea, activities, shopping, spa treatments, experiences and transport — including something completely ridiculous if you can actually book it. Everything has to fit within the £5,000. Real prices only. No freebies, favours or “Daddy knows someone.” Go £1 over and you lose. Money left over doesn't earn you extra points — the objective is to create the best experience, not the cheapest one.

£5,000
One night. £5,000 each. The whole Cotswolds to play with. Daddy will probably want a ridiculous country-house hotel, a very long dinner and a car that makes unnecessary noises. Harriet and G have £5,000 of their own and absolutely no obligation to make sensible decisions. Same budget. Same Cotswolds. Completely different idea of a perfect stay.
