Blenheim Palace
The big one.
World Heritage Site, birthplace of Churchill, and endless parkland.
Places · Woodstock
Woodstock is basically the posh gatehouse to Blenheim Palace, and it knows it. Georgian houses, stone inns and independent shops line streets that end at the palace gates — walk through and you are in one of the finest parks in England.
Even if you skip the palace, the town is worth an afternoon: good pubs, a free museum, and the kind of shops that sell cushions you did not know you needed. It is also just 15 minutes from Deddington.
