Notgrove
The quiet one we call home.
High-wold hamlet with a Norman church, a Neolithic long barrow and big views.
Places · Notgrove & Northleach
This is where Harriet and Georgie grew up, so forgive us for being biased. Notgrove is a tiny high-wold village — a church, a handful of cottages, big skies and more sheep than people. It is the Cotswolds before anyone put a scented candle in it.
Northleach, a few minutes away, is a small market town that got rich on wool in the Middle Ages and built one of the finest churches in England to prove it. Today it is quiet, handsome and useful: a square, a couple of great pubs and easy access to the A40.
